Pink Pepper
The pink pepper is not a real pepper (of the Pepper genus), but the ripe berries from the Brazilian pepper plant. Since it has the same shape and size with the real pepper, it is available on the market under the name “pink pepper”.It is used as spice and it has a milder peppery taste. As it is member of the cashew family, it can cause allergic reactions including anaphylaxis for people with a tree nut allergy.
