Rosemary is an aromatic and evergreen shrub. The Latin name of the plant is “Rosmarinus” and itmeans coolness of the sea and it is composed of the words “ros” (coolness) and “marinus” (marine), because it was considered that it can grow only from the humidity coming from the sea.
